Dress Code 2009-2010

Ashford feels that the manner in which its children dress reflects their attitude toward school. Therefore, a uniform policy was adopted. The official uniform supplier is Parker School Uniforms, located at 12524 Memorial Drive. However, identical items may be purchased from the supplier of your choice. Ashford logo items such as T-shirts, chambray shirts, etc. are available through the Ashford school store. Complete uniform information, including ordering forms, are available from the school office. The polo shirts, shorts, and pants may be purchased from Lydian or other suppliers of your choice.

Students and parents are strongly encouraged to participate in the Ashford uniform program.

Boys
Pants - navy or khaki; Shorts - khaki or navy; Polo shirts (long or short sleeve) - red, navy, yellow, hunter green, or white; Turtlenecks - red, navy, hunter green or white; Henley shirts - red or white; Chambray shirts - blue with Ashford logo; Ashford T-shirt - navy or white with new logo; Belt - navy webbed or braided.

Girls
Jumper, skirt, or culottes - Ashford plaid; Shorts - khaki or navy; Pants - navy or khaki; Polo shirts - (long or short sleeve) - red, navy, yellow, hunter green, or white; Turtlenecks - red, navy, hunter green or white; Blouse - white middy with tie; Blouse - white with red trimmed collar (long or short sleeve); Henley shirt - red or white; Chambray shirt - blue with Ashford logo; Ashford T-shirt - navy or white with new logo; Belt - navy webbed or braided.

Cold Weather Attire
Sweatpants - navy with Ashford logo; Sweatshirts - navy with Ashford logo; Sweater - Cardigan, navy; Jacket - solid navy.

Shoes/Belts
Tennis/running shoes - with socks and should be worn daily; Crocs, Sandals and open toed shoes are not permitted for safety reasons.
Belts - (Boy or girl) navy webbed or braided.

Spirit Day/Scout Day
Spirit Fridays - Any Ashford T-shirt may be worn with jean shorts or pants.
Scout Day - Scout uniforms may be worn on meeting days.

Other
Belts are to be worn with pants and shorts that have belt loops except pre-kindergarten and kindergarten level.
T-shirts are to be tucked in.
All shirts with the exception of middy blouses must be tucked in.
